

A resident of Brunswick for 48 years, Lillian was born August 4, 1919 in Appling County to the late Nancy Ellen and Johnnie Hutto. She was Valedictorian of her class at Surrency High School. She was married to the late James Howard Anderson on February 9, 1939 and celebrated sixty nine years of marriage. She was an avid gardener, raising a variety of vegetables and had a passion for cooking for families in their times of need. “Nanny” Anderson, as she was affectionately called, was an active member of Pine Haven Baptist Church and celebrated her 95th Birthday with her family and church family last August.
Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Ann Murray of Palm Harbor, Florida; her son, James Howard Anderson, Jr. of Johns Creek; two daughters and son-in-laws, Joan and Sebron Roach of Pleasant Hill, Louisiana and Joyce and James Williams of Johns Creek; six grandchildren; Deborah Ring land Neely of Farmerville, Louisiana, Lori Anderson Mashburn of Bartlett, Tennessee, Dori Anderson Butler of Leary, Georgia, Melonie Roach Hilton of Shreveport, Louisiana, Paige Anderson Weeks of Brunswick and Windy Williams Amorose of Johns Creek; and eight great-grandchildren and two great great grand children.
Visitation will be from 6PM to 8PM on Wednesday, at Edo-Miller and Sons Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be at 11 AM on Thursday at Pine Haven Baptist Church, with the Rev. Chuck Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at Brunswick Memorial Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Raleigh Neely, David Hilton, Brandon Sepulvado, David Dolphyn, Jamie Rentz and John Mistisshen.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Son Shine Sunday School Class.
The family requests that In lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Pine Haven Baptist Church.
She will be missed by all, but will forever be in our hearts.
