

Louise Purvis Bradham , 83 of Brunswick passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 after a long courageous two year battle for life. Funeral Services will be held at 3PM Friday, April 29, 2011 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Batten and Rev. Joey Chancey officiating. Interment will follow in Palmetto Cemetery with grandsons Michael Mumford, Lloyd Crum II and Great Grandsons Dusty Copeland, Mark Copeland, Jordan Lockhart, Joshua Crum, and Jayson Lockhart serving as pallbearers.
Honorary Pallbearers are to consist of the Dietary Department of Southeast Georgia Regional Hospital, Dr. Eric Bournigal , Dr. Kevin Brooks, Dr. William Grubb, Dr. Theodore Feeley, Dr. Emily Feeley and Dr. Robert Thompson , James Brooks ,the Golden Isles Dialysis Center, Sears Nursing Facility ,Heartland Hospice and Staff of Fran's Place Restaurant.
Born on June 16, 1927 to the late Dewey and Vera Mae Purvis, she has been a resident of Brunswick her entire life. Ms. Bradham was employed by Glynn Brunswick Memorial Hospital for 44 years as secretary to the dietician and retired in 2007. During her employment she had received several awards and certificates for her outstanding dedication and job performance. She had also received a special award for her attendance in never missing a day of work until her 40th year of employment. She has seen many name changes of the hospital through the years. Ms. Bradham was a loving mother and Grandmother to her family. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her faithful dog Oscar. Nothing made her happier than filling her home with family, grandchildren and friends. All her life doing for others, Ms. Bradham was a wonderful person who was deeply loved by her family and friends and will be sorely missed and forever loved. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Pat Purvis and her grandson William Bradham Jr.
She is survived by her daughter Frances (Lloyd) Crum I, and son William (Gail) Bradham Sr. She is also survived by her loving Grandchildren Lisa (Larry) Copeland, Michael (Tammy) Mumford, Michelle (Jay) Lockhart, Shallen Crum, Tommie Crum and Lloyd Crum II and 13 Great-grand children and 2 Great- Great Grandchildren, and one great great great grandchild, a cousin Margaret (ED) Dubois and special longtime friend Sandra O’Quinn.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening, April 28, 2011 from 6PM until 8PMat Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to The Gideon Ministries or Sears Manor Garden Club.
