After marrying in 1941 at age 17, she had her first child at 18, weathered The Great Depression Era of Post World War II and became a lifelong, devoted wife, homemaker & mother, not working outside the home until 1958 when she went to work at Ballard Elementary School. Following the passing of husband Audie Moyers, she remarried. Together she & Herman moved to Las Vegas and enjoyed a fairytale life for almost 10 years. After the loss of husband, Herman, she returned to the southeast in 1999 to spend the rest of her life enjoying family and friends.
