Dear Marilyn,  
It was with great sadness that I learned of Marc’s passing, he was so influential in my life.  I was honored and privileged to have been recommended as an employee at Merrill’s  by David Rice, our guidance counselor.  I had planned on pursuing an education in chemical engineering, but  being so impressed with Marc decided to go to Albany College of Pharmacy instead.  Marc was so generous, even paying my initiation fee into Kappa Psi.
I wish that our venture into Walton had been more successful, as I know I would have enjoyed working with and for Marc my entire career.  Please pass my sympathies to your children, who probably don’t remember me, but I most assuredly remember them and how proud Marc was of them.

Dear Marilyn and family,
we have had Marc and you in our prayers.   Our Mother, Joan, has kept us in touch and abreast of  your life and journey.   Although we are cousins with the separation of time and distance, we always treasure our family ties and memories.   

 I will always remember as a little girl, Marc coming to our home in Philadelphia to visit my family during the Korean War days.   How sweet he was to remember our family during his tour of military duty and bring each of us a beautiful jewelry box from Korea!    Although our ages and lives kept us from doing more together,  our love of family, Aunt June & Uncle Marc et al is always important and treasured.  We have always enjoyed the special connection you have had through the years with Joan & Walt (our Mom & Dad) and we loved hearing about you through their visits with you and letters exchanged.  Certainly Marc Jr.'s gentle heart and amazing strength in all he accomplished in life and with family remains a testimony to the legacy he leaves to all who know him and love him.  

God Bless you Marilyn for your compassionate and loving care for and honor to Marc during his struggle.

This is Don Benson from Oneonta.  I  was Marcs accountant in the 1980's  and have never forgotten what  a great and fun person he was.

I am sorry to hear of Marc's passing. Worked with him for years at Countryside, and he was a joy to work with. If I had any question about medications he could always help. And the Mortar and Pestle was always fun.

Dear Marilyn, I have the fondest memories of you and Marc. Growing up next door to the two of you was inspiring. Watching how much you loved each other and your children.

Marilyn,  I can't tell you enough what Marc meant to me.  Not just inspiring me to become a pharmacist, but turning me from a shy and timid high school kid, into a mature and outgoing man.  Sure will miss his sarcasm and humor, his love of his profession, and how he enjoyed bseball.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
