Margaret MacVean Finn

Along with her eleven grandchildren, she is survived by her four children; Katie Hines of Silver Spring, MD, Margaret Connolly of Williamsburg, VA, Mary Ellyn Lashbrook and Tom Finn, both residents of St. Simons Island.

Originally from the city neighborhood of Point Breeze and a long time resident of Upper St. Clair, “Margie” had been an active volunteer at Children’s Hospital. After her move to the Golden Isles in Georgia, she quietly supported and contributed her time to several of its local charities. A proud part of SteelerNation and a great fan of all Pittsburgh sports teams, Margie was also an avid golfer and long time member of the Western Pennsylvania Women's Golf Association.

The visitation will be held Friday evening (August 17) between 7PM and 9PM at the Edo Miller Funeral Home in Brunswick, GA. Her funeral Mass will be held at 10AM Saturday morning at St. Williams Catholic Church on St. Simons. Beloved by her friends, including the four-legged variety, her family asks that any contributions made in her memory go to the Glynn County Humane Society (U.S. 17 N Brunswick, GA 31525).
