Marie H. Herndon McGlamory

Mrs. McGlamory was a native of Hawkinsville, Ga. and had been a resident of Brunswick for the past 31 years. She a member of the First Baptist Church of Brunswick, the Joy Sunday School Class and the WMU at First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her son, Edwin Donald McGlamory, Sr.

Survivors are two granddaughters, Dawn McGlamory Pantano (Paul) of Long Island, New York, Donna McGlamory Davis of St. Simons, a grandson, Edwin D. McGlamory, Jr. of Brunswick, three great granddaughters, Alaxna Marie Pantano of Long Island, New York, Logan Mechelle McGlamory of Brunswick, Abigail Suzanna Davis of St. Simons, two great grandsons, Trey McGlamory of Brunswick and Christian Davis of St. Simons.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Saturday 12/31/11 in the Twitty Chapel of First Baptist Church of Brunswick with Rev. Jimmy Crandall officiating. Interment will follow in Palmetto Cemetery in Brunswick.

Active pallbearers will be: Stephen Hulsey, Wayne Herndon, Wendell Herndon, Trey McGlamory, Brian Herndon and Edwin McGlamory, Jr.

The family will receive friends in the Church from 10 to 11 AM Saturday, 12/31/11
