Born December 7, 1913 in New Haven, Connecticut to the late Ernest and Jenny Johnson Nelson, she was a homemaker and former entertainer. A resident of Glynn County for the past 8 years, Mrs. Wright was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses Church and enjoyed painting, quilting, crotchet and music. She was formerly affiliated with Honey Wrights Orchestra in East Haven, CT, and played several musical instruments. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Wright Sr., and a brother Clarence Nelson.
Survivors include a son, Robert G. Wright Jr. and wife Dorothy of Brunswick, four grandchildren, Susan W. Boucher, Debra D. Seide, Amy L. Wright, and Delany Larosa, five great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
