Born September 15, 1948 in Charleston, South Carolina, she was the daughter of Raymond F. Amos Sr. and Martha Elizabeth L. Amos. Mrs. Vinson spent her early childhood growing up in Charleston and Folly Beach before moving to Brunswick. She was a homemaker and an avid reader. She enjoyed gardening, loved listening to music, and spending time with her grandchildren and feline companion. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Raymond F. Amos, Jr.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years Michael Vinson, a son, Gray Vinson and wife Rhonda, a daughter, Lesa Vinson, all of Brunswick, three grandchildren, Teal, Alexxis, and Meagan, and four great grandchildren, Liam, Dagan, Hunter, and Destinie.
