

Mr. Keen was a native of Tattnall County and had been a resident of Brunswick for the past 53 years. He was retired from Carlton Company as Shop Foreman and Heavy Equipment Mechanic and was a former employee of Seaboard Construction Co. as Shop Forman. He was of the Baptist faith. He was known as Mayor of Clairmont Lane.
Survivors are his wife, Dianthia “Diane” Keen of Brunswick, two daughters, Linda Riggs (Andy) and Pamela Renee Young (Emory, Jr.) both of Brunswick, three grandchildren, Tenille Williams, A. J. Riggs and Chevy Young all of Brunswick, four great grandchildren, Rayven Riggs, Ajorria Riggs, Jacobi Riggs and Reanna Deaver all of Brunswick, a sister-in-law, Sandra Keen of Ellabell, Ga., an uncle, Estese Keen of New Ellington, S.C. and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 O’Clock Tuesday 10/19/10 from the Chapel of the Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Minster Johnny Griffin officiating. Interment will follow in Palmetto Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be: Andy Riggs, Emory Young, Jr., A. J. Riggs, Don Turner, Johnny Johnson and Chris Nazzrie. Honorary pallbearers will be: Dr. Mitchell Jones, Critical Care Unit and Heart Care Unit of Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Clarence Walthour, Dennis Lewis, Randy Lewis, Danny Lewis, Glen Lewis and Margaret and Emory Young.
The family will receive friends in the Funeral Home from 6 to 8 PM Monday evening.
