Mary Lorease Ryals Davis

Mary Lorease Davis, 84, of Brunswick, went to be with her Heavenly Father, Sunday November 1, 2009 at Senior Care Center in Brunswick. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 4, 2009 in the Chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. J.W. Griffin officiating. Interment will follow in Palmetto Cemetery. Moses Armstrong, Terry Lane, Frankie Boyette, Aaron Meadows, Frankie Meadows and Jimmy Ward will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Charlton Visiting Nurses and Aides, Senior Care Nurses and Aides from Live Oak Wing.Born November 6, 1924 in Townsend, Georgia to the late William McKinley and Mary Elzada Poppell Ryals, she was retired from King and Prince Seafood. Mrs. Davis was a lifelong resident of Glynn County. She was a member of Sterling Church Of God Of Prophecy. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Grover L. Davis Sr., a daughter, Patricia Boyette, a son, Jerry Edward Davis, a sister, Lola Lane and a brother, Winston W. Ryals.Survivors include a daughter, Maxine Davis, two sons, W. Lamar Davis and wife Annett, Grover L. Davis, Jr. and wife Katherine all of Brunswick, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, a brother Barney B.
