Mrs. Joyner was a native of Macon, Georgia and had been a resident of Glynn County since World Way 11 Era. She was a former employee of the J.A. Jones Shipyard as a Accountant, a former employee of A. J. Gordon Dept Store in Brunswick and retired from the Sea Pac Seafood.
Mrs. Joyner was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and the St. Simons Island Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Gordon “Bud” Joyner.
Survivors are her oldest living cousin, Jewell Ricks Thomas and several nieces and nephews and cousins.
Graveside Services will be held at 11 AM Saturday 11/19/11 in the Palmetto Cemetery in Brunswick with Dr. Felix Haynes and Rev. Darrell Joiner officiating.
