Mary Lizzie Usher Mosley

Mary Lizzie Usher Mosley, 85, of Nahunta, Georgia passed away Friday, March 20, 2015 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Waycross, Georgia. Mrs. Mosley was born August 18, 1929 in Surrency, Ga. to the late Leon Usher and the Late Etta Mae Adams Anderson. She had been a resident of Glynn County most of her life. At the age of 15, Mrs. Mosley was employed with J.E. Jones at the ship yard as a welder during WWII. She was also employed as a care giver. Mrs. Mosley was a former member of the First Church of Nazarene; she was a current member of the Church of God of Prophecy. Mrs. Mosley’s favorite pastimes were crocheting, playing bingo with friends at Bayview Nursing Home and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Milo F. Mosley; three sisters:, Mae Usher Denty, Dorothy Usher Harrell, Nancy Anderson Nimmo; two brothers: Larry Anderson, and Steve Anderson

She is survived by her two daughters: Martha Loretta Thompson (Wayne) and Betty Mosley Brancel (David);Two sons: Charles Mosley Sr. (Debbie), and Anthony Mosley; two brothers, Curtis L. Usher (Reba), and Roy Usher; two sisters, Charlene Anderson Thrift (Coley), and Elise Usher Carter (John); Aunt, Myrtle Adams Wright: Uncle, Raymond Adams (Helen); Grandchildren:Donna Mosley Howard (Tim),Cristie Mosley Brockington (Michael),Shannon Mosley, Charles Mosley, Jr.,Amy Thompson Mann (Neal),Robert Thompson,Paula Brancel Griffin (Jon),Lee Brancel (Krista), Several great grandchildren, and Several nieces and nephews

Funeral service will be held 11: 00 AM, Wednesday, March 25, 2015 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with visitation held an hour before funeral service. Officiating funeral services will be Reverend Phil Harrington assisted by Reverend James Lamb. Interment will follow the service in Palmetto Cemetery. Serving pallbearers are Charles Mosley, Jr., Robert Thompson, Lee Brancel, Dewayne Burgess, Timothy Howard, and Michael Brockington
