Mary Sylvia Webb

Mrs. Webb was born February 21, 1942 in Gainesville, Florida. She was the Daughter of the late Edwin W. Booth and the late Juanita L. Booth. She received her Associates in Nursing from Norfolk General Hospital School of Nursing. Her nursing career of over forty years was devoted to the Operating Room, Labor and Delivery Unit. Mrs. Webb was employed as a Traveling Nurse for most of her career. She was also a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church.

Mrs. Webb was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin W. and Juanita L. Booth; a brother, Eddie Booth. She is survived by her caring daughter, Sylvia Louise (Webb) Phillips of Brunswick, GA; two wonderful grandchildren, Haley Jade Henriksen and Chaidelle Niki Phillips both of Brunswick, GA; two precious great grandchildren, Cynthia Kara Phillips and Kylie Paige Phillips both of Brunswick, GA; one brother, William (Bill) Booth (Janice) of Wylie, Texas.

Mrs. Webb loved to spend time with her family and friends. She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching TV. Mrs. Webb also enjoyed going to church to worship. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Her family will have many fond memories to cherish for years to come.

A memorial service to celebrate her life and home going will be held at 9:00 AM Saturday, May 13, 2017 at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Brunswick, Georgia. Father Gary Jackson will officiate the service. Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Webb's memory to Glynn County Volunteer Firefighters, Inc., P.O.
