Maryanne McEntee

Maryanne was a loving and devoted mother who always put her family first. She was a good friend, who did her best to stay connected to her companions throughout her life. She was the best listener; her home and phone line were always open to anyone who wanted to talk. She loved to sit around the dinner table, talking and laughing with her family and friends, long after the meal was finished.

In 2016, Maryanne who was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised her family In Broad Channel and on Long Island, moved to Brunswick, Georgia to enjoy her twilight years in the warmer climate of the Golden Isles.

Maryanne was the beloved wife of the late James McEntee and the devoted Mother of four children: Carol (Tim), Barbara, Jeannie and James (Janet). She is also survived by her cherished seven grandchildren: Sean (Helen), Daniel (Laura), Kelly, Jenny, William, Emily and Katie, along with two great grandchildren: James and Penny.

The family would also like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all the staff at the Hospice of the Golden Isles who provided the guidance and knowledge needed to take care of our sweet and loving mother in her home, giving her the end-of-life dignity that every human being deserves.
