

Maudine “Ma” Cribb, 74, of Hortense, Georgia, died November 7, 2012 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Jesup. Funeral services will be held 11AM Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Revival Center in Sterling with Rev. Joel Longshore officiating. Interment will follow at 2PM in Jesus Church Cemetery in Mershon, Georgia with Joseph Durrance, Matthew Farmer, Larry Boatwright, Marvin Simmons, Al Mangrum, and Richard Proctor serving as pallbearers.
Born October 4, 1938 in Bacon County, Georgia to the late Eddie and Sennie H. Hall, she was retired from King and Prince Seafood, and retired from the dietary department with the Glynn County School System. Mrs. Cribb was also active in the YWCA as a child care worker in the after school program. She was also a member of Revival Center in Sterling where she was very active in church fundraising and baked cakes for church functions. She had been a resident of Glynn County since the late 1950’s and moved to Hortense in 2006. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Cribb, a brother, Johnny Hall, and two sisters, Bernice King and Frances Beckham.
Survivors include two daughters, Sherry Ann Griner and husband Walter of Hortense, and Janice Farmer of Waycross, a step daughter, Donna Goodman of Cordele, a step son, Clarence G. Cribb and wife Diane of Arabi, four grandchildren, Renee Proctor and husband Richard, Troy Joseph Durrance and wife Brittany, Ashley Griner, and Matthew Farmer, step grandchildren, Tiffany Cribb, Kimberly Goodman, and Tim Jackson, two great grandchildren, Deanna Proctor and Dustin Proctor, several step great grandchildren, a brother, Cecil Hall of Alma, and three sisters, Myrtle Durrance of Brunswick, Luella Boatwright of Waycross, and Martha Simmons of Alma.
