I'm going to miss Mel being wherever I went around the building.. He would be walking or maybe sitting on a bench and I would sit down and talk a spell. I lived with him and Doris on North tower 3rd floor for 5 yrs. and we would have get-to-gathers for our floor. Just the little things that make you feel like family and Mel's presence will be truly missed in this  Towers family.

I will miss seeing Mel sitting in the lobby or outside on the bench. We always spoke to one another or waved if he was outdoors. He was such a pleasant man and we were so blessed to have him here at St Mark’s Towers.
Doris, I am so sorry for your loss. Mel was a very special person!

I would sit and talk awhile with Melvin and Doris.  Melvin was  such a friendly and easy person  to talk with and I couldn't find anyone who didn't enjoy his company .Thinking of you Doris during this time  and  know we are here for you at St Marks Towers.  Love to you and family. Juliette Lazaro
