Michael Clay Story

Michael "Mike" Story,29, of Brunswick, Georgia passed away Thursday, March 10, 2016. A native and lifelong resident of Brunswick, Georgia; Mike was born January 28, 1987. Mike attended Brunswick High School. He was self-employed by his business that he owned and operated, Southeast Georgia Towing and Recovery. He was also a member of Bay Harbor Church of God. Mike enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his children and family.

Mike was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Shorty Story and his maternal grandfather Wallace Dorsey, both of Brunswick.

Mike is survived by his mother Cynthia Cargile and her husband Bobby of Brunswick; his father Richard Story and his wife Christy of Waynesville, Georgia; his daughter Madison Story and his son Preston Story both of Brunswick; his sister Charity Wilson and her husband Timothy of St. Simons Island; his grandmother Martha Dorsey of Brunswick; his grandmother Ann Coleman of Locust Grove, Georgia; the mother of his children Jessica Britt of Brunswick; his grandmother Karen Story of Brunswick and two nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Sunday, March 13, 2016 from 4-6PM at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held Monday, March 14, 2016, 11:00 AM in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Reverend John Harris officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Park Cemetery.

Serving as active pallbearers will be D.J. Ryals, Jeff Emery, David Sanders, John Medlock, Tanner Britt, T.J. Trumphour, Wendall Whitley, and Christian Turner.
