Nancy Elizabeth Randolph

Nancy Elizabeth Randolph, of St. Simons Island, GA, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 13, 2025, surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with Myelodysplastic Syndrome. She was 73 years old.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, on September 14, 1951, Nancy moved to Florida to attend the University of Florida, where she earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in accounting. While working as an accountant in the Santa Fe College tuition office, she met her future husband, David F Randolph, DMD, who was a potter at the time. Though Nancy was initially uninterested when Dave asked her out, he won her over by offering her a ride home to Philadelphia for the 4th of July weekend. That 12-hour car ride marked the start of their 46-year love story.

Nancy enjoyed a distinguished career as a Certified Public Accountant with over 45 years of experience. She worked as both a state auditor and in private practice, building a reputation for her expertise and integrity. Outside of her professional life, Nancy had a love for travel, tennis, and a glass of Chardonnay with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, David F. Randolph; their son, Matthew Albert Randolph (Cristina) of Washington, DC; their daughter, Amelia Anne Randolph (Anthony Massaro) of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Matthew Albert Randolph Jr. and James Walsh Randolph; and her sister, Hading Liberi (Edward Metzner). She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Hading Liberi, and her brother, Albert Liberi.

Nancy will be remembered fondly for her loyalty, kindness, and thoughtfulness, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at St. Simons Presbyterian Church, 205 Kings Way, St. Simons Island, GA.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Nancy’s name be made to the Myelodysplastic Syndromes Foundation, Inc.
