Dear Criss,  My husband just found this very sad news online last night.   We have often wondered where Pam settled and always hoped for the very best for her.  We were friends many years ago, and Pam was a bridesmaid in our wedding.  She was always kind, very creative, very inquisitive and seemed to be searching for her spot.  I'm so glad she found it, and I'm especially glad to learn she was surrounded by the love she deserved.  We are so very sorry for your loss.  Sending our deepfelt condolences,

My dear, big sis Pam. So sorry we didn't get to have another fine meal at Georgia Sea Grill, or go shelling on the beach one more time. I'm so thankful you and Criss moved north from Key West, so we could reconnect. And it was your brilliant idea that we attend Jazzfest 50! The last one for awhile, full of so much good music and some crazy spooks, to boot. Non-edible soap in NOLA will always be ours.
You were able to answer my questions about Japan and my early years. You were the model for what a woman should be: graceful, artistic, thoughtful of others, and beautiful. You are gone too soon, sis. Give Dad a hug for us.

Pam, oh Pam.  My big sister.  We all know these times will come, when we lose a sibling.  We never expect it to come when it does and, certainly, we are never prepared.  I think back and wonder where the time has gone.  Why were there so many times that things come up, for one or the other of us, and a get together had to be postponed, yet again.  I think back and realize that, I believe, we only saw each other in person maybe 5 times, since 1986.  That's 34 years!  How can that happen?  We've had lots of plans but something always happened.  Like this year.  We were to spend our birthdays together in March, then Covid cancelled that.  So it was moved to New Years, which has now proven to be too late to connect again on this plane.  I am so glad that we at least kept in touch via technology, although not enough for sure.  I still laugh that the last thing you sent me was a FB post of men in crocheted pants . . . . some pretty good looking too although all hilarious!  Visions of Fabio in crochet.  That really is just wrong!  I didn't know about your photography.  How could I not know that?  I do hope to see it though, to see the world viewed from your eye behind the camera.  We'll get together with Criss and tell stories on you, laugh, and look at your photography.  And we'll raise a glass of whiskey on your birthday, just like we do with Dad.  I love you sis.  I don't believe it was your turn to cancel out on our next get together, by the way.  We'll talk about that when I see you next.  Take care up there laughing Pam, we sure love and miss you girl.

so many raucous moments of laughter at the Chart Room...But more than anything, the moment Criss walked up behind you there. I remain privileged to have witnessed the instant you two joined the other's life ; saw that she loved you before she told you so

Pam was fun, beautiful and kind. She, Tucker and Criss believed in my dog, Jerry Lee, back when he liked to "test" his sitters. I will so miss seeing her at the Sea Grill and catching up on travel plans and dog stories.  My deepest sympathy to her family and many friends

My heart is broken Pam has always been such a dear friend to me I have such great memories with her working at Bennies Red Barn together going to lunch shopping collectiong sea shells and going over chattinng with her and Chris at there beautiful home....Chris i will pray for you I know its so hard but God will give you strength!!!!!Im in shock!!!! She was the sister of my sister of choice, Shawn (Henderson) Johnson. From the moment I met Pam I felt she was a special. Not just because she was the sister of my good friend, because of who she was. Through the years tho our contact has not been many both Pam and Chris have been considered friendmily. I will miss the opportunity of spending more time with her. Knowing Spirit will guide her soul through her next step.

The sudden loss of my aunt Pam has stunned us all.  It wasn’t until recently that I was able to reconnect with her, so this loss is especially heartbreaking.   I wish we could have spent more time together, but we had plenty of laughs when we did.
