Born March 18, 1955 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to the late Richard Austin and Elsie R. Johnson, she was a nanny, and had been a resident of St. Simons Island for the past 42 years. Mrs. Cole enjoyed arts, photography, painting, gardening and travel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Lynn Orr.
Survivors include her husband, Jeff Cole of St. Simons Island, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
