

Peggy was born on August 20, 1953, in Brunswick, Georgia, to Geraldine Flynt Rowland and Walter Raiford Rowland. She graduated from Brunswick High School and remained a proud member of the Brunswick community throughout her life.
Peggy worked at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) for nearly 20 years, where she made lasting friendships and found deep purpose in supporting the mission and the students. She truly loved her FLETC family and students, and was known for her kindness, dedication, and warm spirit.
Peggy found her greatest joy in spending time with her family and friends. She especially loved going on vacation to Disney World, where she created many cherished memories with the people she loved most.
She will be remembered for her loving heart, radiant smile, and her unwavering devotion to those around her.
Peggy is survived by her husband, Brian Roberts; her brother Chris Rowland (Annella); her three daughters, Donna Barnard (Avery), Rebecca Morris (Billy), and Rhonda Vinson (Michael); eleven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Geraldine and Walter Rowland; her sister, Donna Jean Piper; and her uncle, Donald Flynt.
A celebration of Peggy’s life will be held on August 20, 2025, on the beach. Time and location will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Peggy’s memory to cancer research.
