Richard was born August 25, 1941 in Abington, PA to the late John Cullen Marsh and the late Elizabeth Stuart Patton. Working in the paint industry for the majority of his employment, he served as Vice President of Duron Paints, then worked for Rhodia before he retired to Shellman Bluff, GA. Richard was also a veteran of the United States Navy. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, traveling and helped organize the St. Patrick Day Parade for the Shellman Bluff Volunteer Fire Department for 12 years.
Richard is survived by his loving wife, Sallie Ann Russell Marsh of 56 years, his son, John Marsh of Royal Oak, MD and his daughter, Jennifer Marsh of Baltimore, MD. and his sister, Jean Stuart Lund.
A celebration of Richard’s life is to be held Saturday December 18, 2021 at 11am in the Chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home, 3321 Glynn Ave., Brunswick, Georgia 31520, with Dr. Donald G. Campbell officiating.
