He is survived by his parents C.Richard Posey and Barbara Jean Smartt Posey; sisters Shayna Garcia and Chanel Abbott; girlfriend Mary Crumpler and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his sister Cheryl Sommers.
Ransom loved his two cats Tiggy and Whiney. He loved his job as a lineman and was proud to wear his lineman boots. He had a love for Christmas and snow. He built his own snow making machine so that he could have snow anytime he wanted. Ransom enjoyed bodybuilding, racing cars and riding dirt bikes.
