Robert “Bobby” Carlton Murphey Jr. age 59, of Brunswick, GA, passed away June 25, 2016 at Southeast Georgia Health Systems Brunswick Campus. He was born in Brunswick, GA on June 19, 1957. Bobby graduated from Glynn Academy and received an Associate’s Degree in Electronics from North Georgia Vocational Technical School. He was married to Cheryl Andrachek Murphey on May 9, 1981.
Bobby worked in logistics for Georgia Pacific- Koch Cellulose. He had a passion for family, fishing, and music. His dedication and loyalty to family and friends was most important in his love for life.
He is survived by his wife Cheryl A. Murphey; daughter Kaylee Murphey Harer, his son Toby Lee Murphey, his sister Carla Hall (Johnny),and brother Johnny Murphey (Scott Strean),and his nieces and nephew Heather Mullis (Henry), Alex Watson (Andrea), John Hall Jr. (Joanna), and Elise Murphey.
A service of remembrance will be held at 6:00 PM, Tuesday June 28, 2016 at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home chapel.
