

Mrs. Faulkner was born June 29,1928 in Jacksonville Ga. (Telfair County) and had been a resident of Glynn County since 1932. She attended Glynn County Schools and graduated from Glynn Academy. She began her work career at the Post Office on Sea Island before starting her family; she then joined her aunts at the Perry Daycare Nursery and retired from Belk as a fine jewelry sales associate. After her retirement Mrs. Faulkner volunteered for several years at Southeast Georgia Health System as a Pink Lady.
She is preceded in death by her grandson Thomas Faulkner III of Derby Line VT, a great grandson Jeremiah Thomas Edenfield. Her parents Bernard and Rubye Perry, a sister Carolyn Perry Tipton and a daughter in law Gail Purvis Faulkner all of Brunswick.
Mrs. Faulkner is survived by her loving husband of 67 years Thomas Faulkner. Her two sons, Thomas Faulkner Jr. (Charlene) , Joe Faulkner and a daughter Vicki Faulkner all of Brunswick.
In addition she is survived by her 3 grandchildren, Jan Faulkner of Brunswick, Ashley Nikole Winkelmann of Chesapeake Virginia and James Faulkner of Brunswick. Her 3 great grandchildren Hannah Latham, Peytan and Parker Winkelmann. Her 2 sisters, Mrs. Joyce M. McQuaig and Mrs. Faye Perry Merier (Wayne) both of Brunswick and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and many other relatives.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening September 9 from 6-8 pm at Edo Miller Funeral Home for family and friends. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday Sept. 10 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Edo Miller Funeral Home with burial to follow in Chapel Park Cemetery. Reverend James C. Carter officating.
Active Pallbearers will be: Mark Tipton, Chad Mobley, Wayne Doke, Mick Jones, Wayne Merier, and Jeff McQuaig.
The Family would like to thank Dr. Scott Clay and caregivers Ms. Dottie Tulley and Ms. Stacy
Wood for their dedication and compassion . And to the staff of Gracemore Nuring Home for their caring and compassion in her time of need.
