Sandra was born on February 7, 1947, to Mitchell and Yvonne McGraw of Brunswick, Georgia.
Sandy is survived by her brother, Mike and Olynda McGraw; her children, Kelly and Marcia Medders of Jacksonville, Florida, Christian and Cayla Medders of Athens, Tennessee, and Charity and Dustin Martin of Brunswick, Georgia.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Victoria and Andrew Howell, Kaitlyn Medders, Sarah and Eric Patterson, Tucker and Brianna Medders, Madelyn Martin, Isaac Martin, Sophia Martin, and Kash Medders; as well as a great-grandson, Grayson Medders. Sandy is also awaiting the arrival of baby Patterson.
Sandy was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Jerry Medders; a daughter, Pearl Medders; and a granddaughter, Emalyne Belle Medders.
For many years, Sandy was active in Christian Renewal Church of Brunswick, GA. In recent years, she was a vital part of the Connect Church and The Vine Church families.
Sandy loved her family, watercolor painting, cooking, hosting, and Jesus. She was a devoted mama and “Meme” to her family and multitudes of others.
Sandy and her husband, Jerry, were prominent local entrepreneurs and business owners, giving back to and mentoring many in their community.
Sandy was gracious, courageous, optimistic, and faithful. She was dearly loved by multitudes in this community and will be deeply missed.
