Thomas Wendell Manning, "Tommy," of Brunswick, GA passed away December 3, 2013 at Hospice of the Golden Isles. He was born May 15, 1952, the youngest son of James Curtis Manning, Jr. and Jacquelynne Parker Manning. Tommy graduated from Glynn Academy in 1970 and received a degree in Business Administration from Valdosta State College in 1974. He was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. Tommy had careers with Hercules in Brunswick and the Jekyll Island Authority before becoming a self-employed property manager. He will be remembered for his generosity and love of his family. He is survived by his brother Jimmy Manning and wife Mary Young Manning of Valdosta, GA, aunts Karen Manning of St. Simons, Irene Bearden of Brunswick, Trudie Gibbs of Jacksonville and several cousins ,neices, and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4,2014 at 11 AM at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Wright Culpepper officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service 10 AM – 11 AM
