

Vivian Lavera Lemmond of Brunswick, Georgia went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, January 13, 2023, at the age of 93. She was born in Brunswick, the daughter of the late George Foy Overstreet and the late Rosabell Hightower Overstreet. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth T. Lemmond; also her second husband, Leon Darwin Brown; a daughter, Beverly Lemmond Blackstone; a granddaughter, Jennifer Peeples Loughrey; four siblings, Iris, Rudolph, Reba, and Marion.
Vivian was a lifelong resident of Brunswick and a graduate of Glynn Academy. She was a homemaker and an active member of Christian Renewal Church. She loved the outdoor activities including golf, fishing, and working in her yard. She enjoyed oil and water based painting in her spare time. She also enjoyed playing bridge and traveling. Vivian had a caring heart and would volunteer at the hospital to help families during their difficult times. She will be remembered for her magnetic personality. She was a friendly lady and was loved by everyone.
Left to cherish Vivian’s many memories her sons, Ken Lemmond and his wife Sue and Steve Lemmond; a daughter, Cindy Lemmond Siko and her husband Bill. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive friends between 10 – 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Christian Renewal Church. The memorial service will follow the visitation at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mark Linton officiating and Ken Lemmond giving the eulogy.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Homelife for the compassionate care given to Ms. Vivian over the last two years.
