William Calvin LaRoche Jr.

William Calvin LaRoche, JR, 60, passed away August 1, 2014 at Southeast Georgia Health Systems in Brunswick. Mr. LaRoche was born on July 31, 1954 in Savannah, Georgia to Mr. William Calvin LaRoche, SR and Mrs. Eleanor Roberta Faulk Akins. He had been a resident of McIntosh County Georgia for the past 20 years. He was a 1972 graduate of Glynn Academy. Mr. LaRoche was a carpenter by trade and he was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. LaRoche’s favorite past times were archery and spending time with his family.

Mr. LaRoche was predeceased by his granddaughter Dakota LaRoche and his wife Joyce NeeSmith LaRoche.

Survivors include his daughter Gabrielle F. LaRoche of Hortense, GA; his grandson Cameron Jones of Hortense, GA; his father and step-mother Billy and Shirley LaRoche of Augusta, GA; his mother Eleanor Akins of Brunswick, GA; four sisters, three brothers and several other family members.

A Memorial Service will be held 6:00 PM Thursday, August 7, 2014, in the Chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Reverend Randall LaRoche officiating. Mr. LaRoche’s memorialization will be by cremation.
