Willodeen Alberta Horne

Willodeen Spaulding Horne, age 85, was peacefully called home to be with her Lord and Savior, Tuesday, December 29, 2015 in Marietta, Georgia. Mrs. Horne was born on November 25, 1930 in Brunswick to the late Robert and Ina Spaulding. She was a resident of Glynn County and a longtime member of First Wesleyan Church Brunswick. Mrs. Horne worked at Montgomery Ward/JC Penny catalog department for many years. She regularly served the county at the polling stations.

Mrs. Horne is survived by her son, Michael (Gerrie) Horne, of Hiram Georgia and daughter, Leta (Louis) Baumann of Marietta Georgia; grandchildren, Angela (Bill) Gallman, of Marietta, Nancy (Joel) Hart of Marietta, Joseph (Brittany) Horne, of Hiram, Joshua Horne of Marietta; great grandchildren, Aiden, Jordan, Zachary and Liam. Also brothers, Fred (Mary) Spaulding of Brunswick, Gene Spaulding of Brunswick, and Glenn (Sandra) Spaulding of Brunswick, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, (Joseph) Inman Horne. Also preceded by her sisters, Denise Copertino, Betty House and brother Bob Spaulding of Brunswick.

Services will be held at Edo Miller and Sons funeral home. Visitation, Sunday, January 3 from 5-7. Funeral service at the chapel, Monday, January 4 at 3pm. Pallbearers will be Joseph Horne, Joshua Horne, Bill Gallman and Joel Hart.
