Yvonne will always be remembered for being a loving wife, mother, Dee Dee, and friend to many. She was greatly devoted to her faith in Jesus. She was a wonderful homemaker that took great pride and joy in caring for her family. Yvonne was a member of Christian Renewal Church in Brunswick, Georgia.
Yvonne was a true southern lady that loved to spend time with her family and friends. She enjoyed reading her Bible, working in her beautiful yard, and cooking. Her humor, wisdom, and love for life were very apparent just being around her. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. Her family and friends have many fond memories and stories to share for years to come.

Yvonne Kelly McGraw, 97, of Brunswick, Georgia entered Heaven on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 with scripture being read over her. Yvonne was born October 1, 1920 in Waverly, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late John Robert Kelly and the late Hattie Maude Kelly. She was the wife of the late Mitchell Harrison McGraw. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, five great grandchildren, and seven siblings.

Left to cherish Yvonne’s memories are her daughter, Sandra M. Medders (Jerry) of Brunswick, Georgia; a son, Michael H. McGraw (Olynda Hull) of St. Simons Island, Georgia; her five grandchildren, Kelly W. Medders (Marcia) of Jacksonville, Florida, Christian M. Medders (Cayla) of Athens, Tennessee, Charity M. Martin (Dustin) of Brunswick, Georgia, Michael A. McGraw of St. Simons Island, Georgia, and Amy B. McGraw of Atlanta, Georgia; sister, D. Evelyn Nail of Brunswick, Georgia. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends between 10:00 – 11:00 AM followed by a Graveside Service to celebrate Yvonne’s life at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Homeward Cemetery in Waverly, Georgia with Pastor Kelly Medders officiating.
Active Pallbearers will be Christian Medders, Michael McGraw, Ronnie Kelly, Kenneth Kelly, Dustin Martin, and Richard McKinna.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made in Yvonne’s memory to Hospice of the Golden Isles, 1692 Glynco Parkway, Brunswick, Georgia 31525.
