

He was born the 7th of January 1988, in Gloversville, New York, and had been resident of McIntosh County the past 10 years.
Zackery graduated from Johnstown High school in Johnstown, New York. He is a veteran of the United States Army, and had a career in sales at The Brunswick News. Zackery is of the Methodist faith, and had a passion for Golfing, especially Beer-Pong, and Fruit. He loved all sports, and was a huge Yankee fan. Zackery loved to sing Karaoke everywhere he went. He leaves behind many fond memories that will be cherished by all.
He is predeceased by his grandfathers: Donald L. Brown, Delos Holmes, Alvin Ort
He is survived by his Mother Bonnie Brown-Holmes of Darien Georgia; Father- Milton Holmes of Darien Georgia; Companion –Amber Hoyt- Darien Georgia; Children- Bryce Holmes of Darien Georgia, Caleb Holmes of Brunswick Georgia; Brothers- Ryan Ahrens of Gloversville, NY Randy Ahrens Of Johnstown, NY ,Todd Holmes and Jay Holmes of Brunswick, Georgia, Chad Austin of Mayfield, NY; Maternal Grandmother Carol Ort of Johnstown, NY; Grandmother- Sue Holmes of Darien Georgia; Several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews;Dear Friends- Patricia and Scott Snell of Waynesborough, Virginia;God Parents- Patricia and Joseph Aesch of Broadalbin, NY
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, November 6, 2014 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home, with Mr. Hank Hoyt presiding.
