Allan King Osborne

It is with both heavy and peaceful hearts that we announce the passing of Allan King Osborne, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and friend. Allan passed away on September 6, 2024 at the age of 86 after his battle with Dementia and Alzheimer’s.

Allan is survived by his wife Evelyn of 67 years of marriage and children; Carol (Arthur), Gordon (Sim), Janice (Simon) as well as 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, his sisters; Kay and Maizie along with many nephews and nieces.

He is pre-deceased by his parents Lloyd and Myrle and brother Dan.

Allan was born and raised in Moosomin, Saskatchewan before he moved to Brandon, Manitoba where he met his bride in 1957. He then made the move to the big city of Calgary, Alberta in 1964 where he settled with his family and worked for the Calgary Board of Education, before opening his own cleaning company.

He loved the outdoors and could hardly wait for a weekend to come around so he could take his family camping; he also had a love for dogs which he leaves behind his beloved pal Dexter.

We will forever treasure the times we shared with him, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
