Allen Rainor Northcott

Ray passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, in Calgary, AB. He was born on August 23, 1932 in Drumheller, AB. Ray was the youngest child of Allen and Maud Northcott. He married his best friend Raylene on October 11, 1963, in Toronto, ON. Survived by his dearest daughter and son-in-law Michelle and Tim Wagler; his dearest son Allan Northcott; his precious grandchildren Michael (Carmel), Scott (Carmen), Daniel (Agi) Wagler and Liam Dunn-Northcott; his precious great-grandchildren Jackson and SJ Wagler; his dear friends Sandi Gerlitz, and Roger (Sharon) Nagle; and his dearest nephews and nieces of Walker, Fraser, and Lawrence families. Ray was predeceased by his loving wife Raylene; his parents; sisters Edna Walker and Gwen Lawrence; and his close friend Ron Gerlitz. Ray was the President and owner of Miscoda Holdings Ltd., Petroleum Land Agents, for many years prior to his death, during which time he made many friends within the oil and gas industry. He wanted to thank them for their friendship and support over the years. A Celebration of Allen’s Life will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Monday, March 16, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Ray’s request, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to “Save the Children” (savethechildren.ca).
