Arnold Geiven Marin

Arnold Geiven Marin, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, unexpectedly passed away at age 31 on March 26th, 2022. Arnold was born on February 19th, 1991, in the city of Burnaby, BC. Arnold is survived by his loving mother Rosalie Marin; his sister and brother-in-law Ashleigh Marin and Ashley Pape; his nephew Luxon Pape, and many cousins, aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his father Geiven Marin.

Growing up Arnold had many hobbies and activities that he was passionate about, some but not all include, playing soccer, lacrosse, and his favorite football. His love for food and cooking was beyond compare. He also truly enjoyed music, often you can catch him anytime or anywhere singing a tune.

Arnold loved so many and was loved by so many more. He had a charm that with even just one encounter with him, you would remember him for life. He loved without reserve and gave of himself without hesitation. Arnold may have had some struggles but lived life to the fullest. He would do anything for his friends and loved fiercely. More than a simple risk taker, Arnold also had a generous soul, as I'm sure many of you can attest to. He never met a person in need that he didn't find some way of helping. Anyone who knew Arnold knew that he was a special soul. His family and friends will miss him more than words can say.

He left the pain, but he also left us all and we will never be the same again. Now he is no longer in pain, yet we will continue to hurt. Our family is grateful to know that Arnold is finally at peace. He will continue to stay with us all through memories, and the laughs he forced us all to endure whether we were in the mood for it or not. Arnold will always be remembered for his cheeky smile, charming perspective, and kindness toward others who were less fortunate than himself.

Just as his father would always say, “Never say goodbye, I will see you later”.

There will be no funeral service at this time as his wish. There will be a Celebration of Life held at a later date that all his friends and family can attend.
