Candy was a loving wife, devoted mother and grandmother as well as a treasured friend to all who knew her. She was a native Calgarian, the only child to parents Bill and Eileen.
Aside from her loving husband of 55 years, Larry, she is survived by her daughter Candy (Barry), her son Chris and her grandchildren; Mason and Madelyn, who were her pride and joy.
Some of her passions included meeting friends for coffee, finding fabulous deals at thrift shops and mooching along the beaches of the west coast in search of sea glass. The role she was born for however, was that of loving Grandma. She took that job very seriously, rarely missing a performance at the school, Mason’s hockey games and Madelyn playing ringette.
She will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
Due to COVID restrictions, a Celebration of Candy’s Life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to a charity of your choice.
