Carl passed away peacefully after a short illness at the age of 82. Carl will be lovingly remembered by his wife Phyllis, daughter Lynn Ann, brother-in-law Ed Mounce, nieces Kelly, Natalie, Diana and best friends George and Cornelia Sutherland. Carl was predeceased by his sister Janet Anne Mounce. Carl had a long career in the petroleum industry working from North Dakota to NE British Columbia and finished his career in Calgary. In retirement, he applied his many practical skills at Chesney’s Sheet Metal. The family would like to thank Dr. I. Belenkie, Tanis, Tracy and the doctors and staff in Unit 61 of the Foothills Hospital for the wonderful care they provided to Carl. A tribute to his life will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street NW (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Wednesday October 10, 2012 at 3:00 pm.
