Charlotte is survived by sons Danny (Gayle) Armer of Gillette, Wyoming and Paul of Calgary; daughters Jacalyn (Andy Smith) Durkin of Cambridge and Elizabeth (Dennis) Leidl of Calgary; step-daughters Karen (Mark) Anderson of Surrey, Julie Gardner of Langley and Beverly Varey of Kelowna. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister Winnie Hargreaves of Airdrie; brother John (Donna) Christopherson of Prince Albert. Charlotte was predeceased by her first husband Palmer Armer in 1979, second husband Kenneth Gardner in 2008, daughter Jo-Ann Denny in 1998, father Joseph Christopherson in 1956 and mother Elizabeth Christopherson in 2001.
A Memorial Service will be held at Emmanuel Community Church, (3003 28 St SE) on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at 11:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations being made in Charlotte’s memory directly to the Alzheimer Society, (800-7015 Macleod Trail SW, Calgary, AB T2H 2K6) or to a charity of one’s choice.
