
Mr. Cheung Hung of Calgary passed away at the Rockyview Hospital surrounded by his family on October 22, 2010 at the age of 91 years. He was predeceased by his wife, Mrs. Guey Chung Chow in 2001. He is survived by five sons, two daughters and four daughters-in-law: Jean, Wayne (Mee Ying), Christopher (Bonnie), Stuart (Sheila), Dewayne (Gloria), Jennifer and Dean and by four grandchildren: Stephanie, Nicholas, Ryan and Amanda, all from Calgary. He was born in September 21, 1919 in Hoi Ping, Canton, China. He moved to Hong Kong together with his family in the early fifties and worked as a baker in Hong Kong before immigrating with his family to Canada in 1969. He was a baker until his retirement in 1978. He lived a long and happy life. He was always kind and considerate. He worked hard to provide for his family and cherished every moment he spent with his family. He was truly a wonderful husband, father, father-in-law and grandfather. He will always be lovingly remembered by his family. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at a visitation held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Friday, November 12, 2010 from 7:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 1:00p.m. Interment will follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
