Christie Lynne Besselt

Christie is sadly missed by her husband of 14 years, Pete; children, Cole and Alyssa; mother, Dale Harding; father Glen (Shirley Major) Harding; sister, Shara (Phil) Doherty and children Jason and Ryan Doherty and sister, Candice (Kris) Bouman and children Makenna and Beckett Bouman; brothers, Chris (Katie) Ford and Brad Harding; mother and father-in-law, George and Lynne Besselt; brother-in-law, Scott and daughter, Amanda; Brandon (Kourtney) and daughter Keiya and Brent (Krystle) and son Taevin. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Christie cherished her family and friends. She was an amazing artist and loved to paint, raised funds for Muscular Dystrophy and participated in the Run for Muscular Dystrophy, and volunteered for Habitat for Humanity. She loved life and the outdoors. Christie will forever remain in our hearts.

A Celebration of Christie’s Life will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Tuesday, October 22 at 2:00 p.m. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the Tom Baker Cancer Centre, 1331 29 Street N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 4N2.
