Christina Paola was born in Campomarino, Italy, a small warm coastal town by the Adriatic Sea. She was the youngest of 4 sisters and had many life experiences.
From working on her parents' farm to watching World War II unfold in their small town. She met our dad in the same small town. A few years later, Dad's opportunities for work made him immigrate to Canada. In 1951, Mom stayed in Italy until Dad asked her to marry him.
He and Mom got married via proxy on October 3, 1954, and Mom immigrated to Canada on September 18, 1955.
They finally became a married couple, and together they moved to the beautiful snowy place Yoho, B.C., in November of 1955.
She was a loving wife and the mother to three children. Christina lived a busy and wonderful life with family and friends. She loved gardening, camping, playing bingo, and many more things.
She made sure all her cooking techniques were passed on to 3 generations of family.
Christina Paola was our social butterfly; if she met you, she would talk about everything to get to know you. Many friendships were started all through her life.
She loved everyone, and everyone loved her. We are going to miss that wonderful butterfly.
Besides her late husband Tony. Christina is survived by her three children, Salvatore (Debbie), Frank (Terry), and Anna (Gary).
Niece Angela (Ryan); Grandchildren Chelsea (Richard), Michael (Denise), Brittany (Christopher), Cassandra (Andrew), Sara (Tyler), Mckenna, and Connor.
