

He was born on April 5, 1933 to the proud parents of Kenneth and Alice Poole, in Kemptown, Nova Scotia. Clarence ‘Bud’ left Nova Scotia as a young man and moved to Calgary, Alberta where he worked and raised his family.
Clarence ‘Bud’ is survived by his wife Ida Poole (nee Nickolas) and sister Anna (Allan). He will be greatly missed by his daughter Sharon (Vincent) Klinot, son Gary Poole; grandchildren Mitchell (Elyce), Nicole (Don), Patricia (Adam), Matthew, Renny (Jennifer), Martin (Coral); great grandchildren Liam, Isla, Tyson, Stella, Scarlett and great great grandson Sid. Bud is predeceased by his parents, Kenny and Alice; brothers, Irving (Sophie), James (Irene); sisters, Joyce (Donnie), Betty (David), Margaret (Harmon), and Kenda (Ian).
Clarence ‘Bud’ was ways quick with a smile and with sprinkle of humour, loved family and friends and most especially his wife Ida of 69 years.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at a visitation held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary, Alberta (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL on Friday, September 6, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.
Interment will follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
