Curtis is survived by his loving parents, Lori Kester and Greg Zarchekoff (Deb). Curtis attended school in Canmore, the community where he flourished and found some of his deepest relationships, his passions and his peace in the mountains. If he was outdoors, he excelled. If he was with his family and friends, he was the star. Curtis’ humour and love of life was contagious. He graduated from U of C in June 2004 with a BA in Philosophy. Besides his parents Curtis is survived by his grandmother Barb Kester; Uncle Greg Kester; Auntie Kathy (Dave Broadfoot); Uncle Rod (Ellen); Uncle Bob (Wendy); Uncle Murray (Betsi) and cousins Sarah and Jennifer Broadfoot; Jessie and Jamaica Zarchekoff; Derek and Kelly Zarchekoff; and Aaron and Ashley Bauer as well as cousin Karen and family. Special mention to the Bauer clan from Saskatchewan who took Curtis into the fold at a young age and continued to support him throughout his life. He was predeceased by his grandfathers Alfred Zarchekoff and Jim Kester and Grandmother Margaret Zarcheoff (Bauer).
