Dale Cooke passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 29th at the age of 84 years. Dale was born in September of 1937 to Charlie and Goldie Cooke in Back Bay, New Brunswick. He married the love of his life, Roma, on June 6, 1959 and together they would raise their family and build their lives. Dale was a respected accountant and spent his working years between McCain Foods in Florenceville, NB and Moffitt Dodge in St. Stephen, NB. Upon his retirement, he moved to Calgary, Alberta to be closer to his children and grandchildren. Dale enjoyed walking at the Y, completing word and jigsaw puzzles, and playing cards with his friends and family. Dale was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his wife Roma; his children and their families, Terry and David Fagan, Karen and Al Bustard, Jennifer and Glen Nudd, Deidra and John Hooper; his grandchildren and their families, Stephanie Hasanen, Laura McClellan, Michael Fagan, Jared Nudd, Jamie Nudd, Cara Roberts, and Leah Hooper; and his great grandchildren.
Dale was laid to rest at a Private Graveside Service at Queen's Park Cemetery. A Celebration of Dale's life will be held on Tuesday, April 12 at 10:30 am at Rocky Mountain Calvary Chapel, 8241-31 St. SE, Calgary, AB.
