

Surrounded by her family Darlene Matwe passed away peacefully on March 4th, 2015. She is survived by her children Andrew (Angela & family), Heather (Brendan) and Jocelyn; as well as her brothers, Kenneth (Shanon) Cooper, Vern (Sylvia) Cooper, Stuart Cooper, Ivan (Hilda) Cooper; her sisters, Dorothea Holland, Adella Nielsen, Gwen Christenson, Eileen (Harry) Rathje, Viola (Bob) Rathje, and sister-in-law Debby (Allen) Cooper. Predeceased by her husband Arnold Matwe, parents Raymond and Edna Cooper, brother Allen Cooper, sister Myrna (Clarence Sr.) Link, brothers-in-law Einar Christenson and Enoch Nielsen, and partner David Shaw. She is fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff of Bethany Care Centre Harvest Hills for the care and affection they showed Darlene over the past three years.
A Memorial Service will be held at Foster's Garden Chapel, 3220 4 Street NW, Calgary (across from Queen's Park Cemetery) on Monday, March 9, 2015 at 10:00 am. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family via the website www.fostersgardenchapel.ca.
