Donna was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Dorothy Forbes. The eldest of seven children, she will be lovingly remembered by her siblings David (Laverne), Bob (Laurie), Doug (Joyce), Lorie (Paul), Joanne (Duncan), and Lisa. Donna was also a beloved aunt to many nieces and great nieces and nephews, and she had two granddaughters who were very special to her: Paige and Amy Mathison.
Donna enjoyed a long and accomplished career as a corporate paralegal in Edmonton. She started her career with Cormie Kennedy and remained with the firm through its many iterations, retiring finally from Miller Thomson. Known for her professionalism, integrity and breadth of knowledge, Donna taught at Grant McEwan College and authored the Alberta Guide to Corporate Records, an achievement of which she was very proud.
Donna was dedicated to her family, and exhibited quiet strength and perseverance throughout her life. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends and remembered by all who knew her as a woman who lived her life well.
