Donna Marie Brady

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Donna Marie Brady (nee Soley). Donna passed away on August 1, peacefully at her home in Calgary. She is predeceased by her husband Tom, who coincidentally passed on the same day in 2007.

Donna was born in Red Deer in 1942, the second youngest of seven children born to Margaret and John. She met Tom and they married August 11, 1962. They lived in Calgary, raising their family and making many wonderful friends.

She is survived by her two daughters, Bonnie (Andy) and Linda (Lenard), grandchildren Dallas (Michaela), Cody, Christina (Mike), Sherri, and Scott (Kara). She was also blessed with great-grandchildren Mieka, Kayde, Sadie, Isla, Benjamin and Ryker.

One of her most special memories was the celebration for her 80th birthday. She cherished that day and was so pleased to have her family and friends there to share it with her (a few were unable to attend in person, but were there in spirit wishing her all the best). Remember her as she was on that day, having a fabulous celebration with everyone, as it was such a treasured event for her! She would wish to be remembered chatting, laughing, and reminiscing, having a fabulous party in her honor!

She always said she was a “sparkly” person. In keeping with her personality, we have made sure she is in her best glittery outfit and will be looking her best as she crosses to the other side to reunite with those who passed before her.
