Doreen is survived by her children Susan (George) Kennedy and David (Bev); 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Robert and son Steven (Chris).
Doreen was born and raised in Verdun, Quebec on December 2, 1935. She married Bob on May 19,1956 and they remained in Verdun to raise their family. Doreen and Bob made the journey to Calgary and lived there for a time. After Bob’s passing, Doreen lived in Airdrie. Her final move was back to Calgary where she resided in Bow View Manor where she lived until her passing last week.
She was loved by her family and all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
A Memorial Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary, Alberta (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 2:00 pm.
