Doreen Beth McBride

Doreen Beth McBride passed away peacefully at the Foothills Hospital Medical Centre surrounded by her immediate family. She is lovingly remembered by her husband Arthur, sons Brent and Bradley and daughter-in-law Beverly. Doreen is also survived by her brother BJ Hughes and his wife Clemeth. A lifelong Calgarian, Doreen enjoyed her many years working retail, and developing longstanding relationships with customers. She was also an avid gardener, and couldn’t wait to get out to her garden or onto her patio to enjoy the blossoms; the size of the garden did not matter. A remembrance of Doreen for family members will be held at a later date. At Doreen’s request no memorial service will be held. Doreen’s family expresses sincerest thanks to all people sending us thoughts through this difficult time, and to all staff of Unit 44, Foothills Medical Centre for the outstanding care Mom received during her stay there.
