It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dorothy Clarke after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, August 30, 2010 at the age of 71 years. Dot was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta and spent the remainder of her life here. Dot was predeceased by her mother Mina Nash in 1988 and her father Bill Nash in 1989.
She spent the majority of her adult life raising three sons, Ken, Don and Steve and one granddaughter Melissa. These lives will forever be blessed and inspired by her wisdom, humor and sense of good will to others. She will be remembered by all for her loving nature and kind, gentle soul. Dot is also survived by a sister Shirley (Ted) Wallis in Comox, B.C. and a grandson Cody.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 8 at McDougall United Church, 8516 Athabasca Street S.E., Calgary.
